A legal disclaimer
We are a non-profit homeschool organization that seeks to build our homeschool community and our local community, through volunteering, fundraising and enrichment courses offered by us and skilled mentors bringing enrichment to our homeschooled youth. Most are parents of the community and others are real life professionals we are not professional teachers according to the state of Michigan to be hired teachers. But we would guide our youth to possible passions while making community connections. We are NOT a daycare, and parents must be present with their children while children partake in community activities. You are responsible for your child/ren while they are utilizing our facility and enrichment activities.
Terms & Conditions - the basics
DISCLAIMER:
We are a non-profit homeschool organization that seeks to build our local
community through volunteering, fundraising, social events, and enrichment classes.
Our events and courses are offered by volunteers of the group and skilled mentors from
our community. According to the state of Michigan we are NOT, nor do we claim to be,
professional, trained, or certified teachers. Our objective as parents is to simply guide
our youth and offer different ways for them to find and explore new passions, while
making connections within our community.
The facility we host our in-person events and classes are rented out by our
organization and is not owned by us or affiliated directly with our organization. We are
subjected to the facility owner’s terms and conditions for all use of their facilities.
Damages to the facility or class equipment could result in a fine to replace or fix
damage.
We are NOT a daycare, authorized school, or elective program. A parent or
guardian MUST remain on site with child/ren at all times. Parent/ guardian is fully
responsible for their own child/ren. Our organization and the facility owner are NOT
responsible for damages, loss or theft of personal items, or injuries.
